Mufti Muhammad Usman Zahid is an esteemed Islamic scholar, educator, and community leader dedicated to promoting Islamic values, academic excellence, and spiritual growth. Currently serving as the Resident Mufti (Scholar) and Imam at the Islamic Center Faizan-e-Madinah in Lynnwood since November 2024, he leads congregational prayers, delivers impactful sermons, and provides religious guidance to a diverse community.
His professional journey includes over a decade of leadership and teaching roles. As Principal of Jamia-tul-Madinah from 2021 to 2024, he managed one of Dawat-e-Islami’s premier seminaries, mentoring educators, implementing curricula, and ensuring academic and spiritual excellence. From 2018 to 2021, he taught advanced Islamic studies, including Quran, Hadith, Fiqh, and Arabic grammar, as part of the Dars-e-Nizami program. Earlier, he served as Principal and Teacher at Madrasa-tul-Madinah (2015–2018), focusing on Quranic recitation, Salah, and foundational Islamic education while managing day-to-day operations.
Mufti Muhammad Usman Zahid completed the rigorous Dars-e-Nizami program, earning a Master’s in Arabic and Islamic Studies (Al Shahada tul Alimiyah) from Jamia-tul-Madinah, Faisalabad, in 2018. His expertise spans Islamic jurisprudence, theology, Quranic exegesis, Hadith studies, and Arabic language.
Known for his scholarship and leadership, he excels in mentoring, curriculum development, conflict resolution, and public speaking, delivering sermons in Arabic and Urdu that inspire people of all ages. He actively engages with his community, promoting tolerance, unity, and spiritual development through counseling, events, and outreach initiatives. Certified by Dawat-e-Islami Trust, he has mentored students who now serve as scholars and Imams worldwide, leaving a lasting impact on Islamic education and community welfare.
